Sewer Trials, New Hero, and New Costumes

10/31/04: But first, the remnants of Halloween....
Agnt Bristow joins the Miracle Force

Bristow comes across some Hellions

She mostly has kick attacks

11/02/04: A hero named Gold Ice invited Pepsiman to a 'kraken farm',
where a team of heroes descended deep into the sewers of Paragon City
in order to kill the Hydra, but we didn't kill it, we instead killed the Hatched Kraken
that were nearby. Each kill netted about 40,000-46,000 experience points.
My woes about wallowing in level 39 were soon to be forgotten...

Orbital (tank) draws the creature to our 'kill zone'

Orbital taunts another kraken (on the right)
The Hydra head is the big mound in the background

After killing the the kraken, The heroes left the mission
and partied outside the mission door

Pepsiman and Gold Ice blast away during
the second farming expedition

11/03/04: a new hero: Spy Guy, mind controller

Stylishly dressed hero

Using his mesmerize power

Using his levitate power

Long distance levitate!

In Atlas Plaza

11/04/04: back to the sewers for more farming

The last kraken of the mission

There's a badge for jumping on the Head of the Hydra,
aptly named "Head of the Hydra".
Pepsiman got it by activating his phase shift power
(think Kitty Pride from the X-Men) and ran
through the Hydra.

Ugly sucker, no?

On the second attempt of the night, the team wasn't
as successful. Pepsiman and the team were killed
at least three times before defeating the first kraken.
We all called it a night after that.

11/05/04: a third night of farming, pre mission dancing

While waiting, we showed off our alternate costumes

I began to think about changing Pepsiman's
Superman costume to something else

Orbital, in a Supes costume just looked better than
Pepsiman did in his

Orbital also had a Captain Marvel costume

LEVEL 40 FOR PEPSIMAN!!
Before the 1st update, this would have been the endgame,
but now there are 10 more levels to go! Woohoo!

Sadly, Pepsiman started level 40 with debt,
which was quickly eliminated by farming krakens

One controller had a pair of ice 'pets' that had the
same powers as Pepsiman!

One of the Jack Frost's (the name of the pets) bit it....

11/06/04: Pepsiman's 4th costume slot is filled
with the PDG costume; PDG has been deleted

I also changed Pepsiman's Superman costume to
another early DC hero, The Crimson Avenger.
Must really confuse people, a hero named 'Pepsiman'
wearing a red cape....

Spy Guy infiltrates a 5th Column warehouse

Pepsiman now has missions again, something that he didn't have
access to during levels 38 and 39; here we see a pair of
Nemesis automotons waiting for the Powerful Pepsiman!
