Glenn and I played a couple of games of Warhammer 40K today (750 points each)
with me running my Necron Army and him using his Space Marines.

Result:
- Necrons suffered 34% casualties (8 of 20 Warriors + 2 of 5 Immortals)
- Marines suffered 52% casualties (3 Bikes, 7 Marines, 1 Terminator, 1 Rhino)

Glenn was a bit annoyed with the Necron ability to 'regenerate' after dying.

What I learned: I need to get some close combat units for my Necron Army

Me happy, clapping, 'cause Glenn 'fraid of my army!	"Concentrate all firepower on the purple dinosaur!"
First Blood: Necrons kill a bike	Then they kill a Rhino, and one of the marines inside
Slowly the Star Force units were disappearing....	....until the Terminator Squad engaged in close assault
Endgame: dreadnought immobilized....	....Marine tac squads decimated....
...bike squad almost annihilated....	Space Marine survivors of the 1st Battle of Castro Valley The Necrons 'phased out' before a photo could be taken
